Antonio Pallucci has been involved in the catering industry for over 35 years, and has extensive experience in running a successful restaurant.

He has worked in some of the finest establishments in Edinburgh, including Cosmo, Denzlers, Vitos, The Prestonfield House and The King James Hotel.

It was in Cosmo, the top restaurant in Edinburgh during the 1970’s, he learned the importance of providing the perfect dining experience for his clients.

Antonio takes great pride in the authenticity of the food served in Gambero Rosso, using only the best and the freshest ingredients.

All the beef sourced is pure Aberdeen Angus, and specialising in seafood cuisine, he believes only the freshest of fish should be prepared.

This belief stems from his Mother, Anna’s wonderfully fresh home cooking he enjoyed as a child, and still does now, when he visits her in his hometown of Cassino, Italy.

Very knowledgeable in wine, Antonio offers a varied selection, and will recommend the best one to complement your dish.

He has taken care to recruit staff he believes are the best in providing a friendly welcome, attentive service and the most delicious food.

His wife, Susan, is on board to greet many a familiar face during the busy weekends, all in the beautiful surroundings of the Gambero Rosso Restaurant.
